“Home of the African Elephant”. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks.The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Varied wildlife includes: Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine.


  • Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi
  • Meet and greet with your tour guide/driver
  • Drive to Amboseli National Park, which is located approximately 240 km from Nairobi
  • Check into your accommodation at one of the lodges or tented camps in the park
  • Have lunch at the lodge or camp
  • Afternoon game drive in the park, where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife
  • Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay
